Fine Art Printing with Exceptional Quality

At Full Gamut, fine art printing is about more than simply putting an image onto paper. It is about reproducing your work with the colour, detail, depth and character it deserves.

Every print is produced with careful attention to colour accuracy, tonal balance, fine detail and consistency. From photographic work and limited-edition prints to illustrations and original artworks, our experienced team approaches every job with the same professional standard.

We use high-quality pigment-based printing technology together with a carefully selected range of premium fine art and photographic papers. This allows us to produce prints with exceptional clarity, smooth tonal transitions, rich colour and beautiful surface detail, while also providing the longevity expected from professional fine art reproduction.

Colour You Can Trust

Accurate colour management is central to our printing process. Our workflow is carefully controlled and profiled so that the colour you see is reproduced as faithfully and consistently as possible. We understand that subtle differences in tone, shadow detail and colour balance can completely change the character of an artwork, which is why every image is treated with care rather than simply processed through an automated workflow.

Professional Advice, Not Just Printing

Choosing the right paper can have a significant impact on the finished print. Our team can help you select a surface, texture and paper tone that complements your artwork, whether you are looking for a smooth photographic finish, a softly textured cotton rag or a traditional fine art appearance.

We can also assist with file preparation, sizing, colour and print presentation, giving you access to experienced advice throughout the process.

Made for Artists, Photographers and Collectors

Whether you need a single exhibition print, a portfolio of photographs or an edition of fine art prints for sale, Full Gamut provides the same level of attention and professionalism at every stage.

The result is a beautifully produced print that reflects the quality of the original work — made with care, consistency and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Your artwork deserves more than an ordinary print. Full Gamut delivers professional fine art printing designed to make your images look their best on paper.

Frequently asked questions

Where are your prints produced?

All uur prints are produced in our studio in Hobart, Tasmania. We are a locally based business who take great pride and care in every aspect of our production from printer calibration to paper choice and final output.

What print process do you use to make prints?

Our prints are produced on Epson professional large format printers. Inks used are the UltraChrome Pro archival pigment inkset with either 10 or 12 inks. Designed for maximum colour range and fade resistance. This is mong the longest lasting print systems available today.

This print type is sometimes refered to as Giclée printing. The term "giclée" is derived from the French word "gicleur," meaning "to spray," which refers to the process of tiny ink droplets being sprayed onto the printing surface. This process results in prints with exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity, making them a popular choice for fine art reproductions.

What materials do you print on?

We only use well established and internationally recognised brands in producing our prints.

Manufacturers we use include Canson Infinity, Hahnemühle Fine Art and Ilford Galerie.

Papers are chosen in collaboration with our artists. They are typically 300gsm (unless otherwise requested by the artist). We favour 100% cotton papers and cotton/poly blend canvas for maximum longevity.

Do you print for anyone or just your artists?
